GETTING HERE

Three turns and you are here

We sit just off Interstate 81. Whichever direction you are coming from, you want the same exit.

1

Take I-81 to Exit 14, signed for NY-80 and Tully. It is the same exit heading south from Syracuse or north from Cortland and Binghamton.

2

Head east on NY-80 and follow it into the village. State Street runs south from the village center, and we are a little way down it at number 13.

3

You will know the building when you see it. Tall white pillars across the front, and apart from the elementary school, the largest thing on the street.

Parking and arrival

Park in the lot just north of the building, and come in through the front entrance under the pillars, where we will meet you. Please arrive five to ten minutes before your start time.

Guided tours run 7 PM to 10 PM. Overnight investigations run 6 PM to 7 AM. Every visit opens with a short orientation covering the building’s history, the activity reported here, and how to use the equipment.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Coming prepared

What to bring

  • Comfortable clothing and footwear
  • A flashlight
  • Layers for the basement in autumn and winter
  • Your own equipment (optional)
  • A camera or recorder (optional)

Where to stay

For overnight investigations you are welcome to bring a cot or air mattress and rest at the lodge if the night gets long.

If you would rather have a proper bed, the Quality Inn is the only hotel in Tully, right next to the Circle K.

Accessibility

The main floor is straightforward to move around, and there are two accessible restrooms on site.

The basement is down a steep, narrow staircase, and it is one of the most active parts of the lodge. If stairs are a concern, tell us when you book and we will plan around it.
