Frequently Asked Questions

Everything first-time guests ask us, answered. If your question is not here, get in touch and we will answer it.

The Experience

What experiences do you offer?
Three. A Private Overnight Investigation (6 PM to 7 AM, up to 8 guests, from $399.99), a 3-Hour Guided Public Tour (7 PM to 10 PM, up to 12 guests, $49.99 per person), and a 3-Hour Guided Private Tour (7 PM to 10 PM, up to 6 guests, from $199.99).
Do I need any experience with paranormal investigation?
No. Both the guided tours and the overnight investigation are built for complete beginners and seasoned investigators alike. Our guides demonstrate every piece of equipment and answer questions throughout.
Is equipment provided?
Yes. We supply professional investigation tools including EMF meters, digital voice recorders, motion detectors, and spirit boxes. You are also welcome to bring your own.
Will staff be with us the whole time?
On the overnight investigation the lodge is yours alone to explore at your own pace, but our staff remain on site all night to help with equipment and answer questions. The guided tours are led by an investigator throughout.
Do we get access to the entire building?
Nearly all of it. A small private area stays closed to guests, but the heart of the lodge and its history is open to you.
Will we definitely experience something paranormal?
No one can promise that, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can promise is uninterrupted access to a building with nearly two centuries of documented history, professional equipment, and guides who take the work seriously. Some nights are quiet. Some are not.

Planning Your Visit

Is there a minimum age?
There is no hard minimum, but we recommend ages 15 and up. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the whole visit.
What should I bring?
  • Comfortable clothing and footwear
  • A flashlight
  • Layers, especially for the basement in autumn and winter
  • Personal investigation equipment (optional)
  • A camera or video recorder (optional)
  • An open mind and a sense of adventure
Where do we park, and where do we come in?
Park in the lot just north of the building and come in through the front entrance. We will meet you there.
Are there restrooms?
Yes. There are two accessible restrooms on site.
Is the building accessible?
The main floor is straightforward to move around, and both restrooms are accessible. This is an 1820s building, though, so some areas are harder to reach. The basement in particular is down a steep, narrow staircase, and it happens to be one of the most active parts of the lodge. If stairs are a concern, tell us when you book and we will plan the visit around what works for you.
How warm or cold will it be?
The lodge is heated. The main floor sits under vaulted ceilings, which keep it comfortable even in high summer. The basement is the exception: it runs cold once the weather turns, so bring layers for an autumn or winter visit.
Is food or drink provided?
Light snacks and beverages are provided during the overnight investigation. If you would like us to cater dinner or breakfast for your group, contact us after booking and we will arrange it.
Can we sleep during the overnight investigation?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a cot or an air mattress and rest at the lodge if the night gets long. If you would rather have a proper bed, the Quality Inn is the only hotel in Tully, right next to the Circle K.

Rules and Policies

Do we need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every guest signs a liability waiver on arrival, before the visit begins. Guests under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign on their behalf.
Can we bring alcohol?
No. Alcohol is not permitted on the property during any tour or investigation.
Can we film and post our footage?
Yes, and we would love to see it. Film whatever you like and post it wherever you like. We only ask that you credit the Haunted Tully Lodge as the location so people can find their way to us.
What is your cancellation policy?
We hold your date for you, so the further ahead you tell us, the more we can do.
  • 7 or more days before: full refund, or reschedule at no charge.
  • 1 to 6 days before: 50% refund, or reschedule at no charge.
  • Less than 24 hours, or no-show: non-refundable. Private bookings may reschedule once for a $100 rebooking fee.
If severe weather or a genuine emergency gets in the way, contact us. We would rather find you another night than keep your money.
